TRUA

Temporary Rental & Utility Assistance (TRUA) offers rent and utility assistance to households earning up to 80% of the area median income, see chart below. Funding is provided through Denver’s Affordable Housing Fund and is part of a collaborative effort by the Office of Economic Development to address critical and immediate needs of people facing utility shutoff, eviction, or displacement.

ASSISTANCE IS ONLY FOR CITY AND COUNTY OF DENVER RESIDENTS. FOR ASSITANCE OUTSIDE OF DENVER PLEASE CALL 211.

Once you have gathered all of the documents, and completed your application, please scan and email them back to us at rental@delnortendc.org, fax them to 303-433-0924, or drop off your completed packet on Tuesdays or Thursdays between 10:00 am and 12:00 pm. We are located at Del Norte Neighborhood Development Corporation, 3275 West 14th Ave #202 Denver, CO 80204.

Please note that the counselor reviewing your application may require additional documentation. In this event, you will be given 5 business days to submit the requested items, otherwise, your application will be closed due to incompleteness.
